After I learned how to do the Russian Spiral from a member of the Baltimore Bead Society I was itching to create something. I loved the stitch, it went rather quickly and had a wonder drapey feeling. Holiday season was on the horizon and the 3 mm Swarovski crystals and the Japanese 15 hexs seemed like the perfect combination to celebrate the season. I wear this all year round, black and white goes with everything, and a little sparkle never hurt anyone.

These Button Earrings were born when I worked in the Operating Room and dangly earrings were not allowed. The beads are stitched to a beading disk that is later attached to a special post finding. These are a great way to use up beads to match your project. See another color combination on the Earring page.

Linda’s Necklace– this is one of my favorite projects. I love to make the big spiral bead because I can use 9 different colors and sizes. This piece was part of a barter relationship. Linda from my book club hemmed some curtains I bought in addition to sewing the demin bag on the last page and I made her this necklace. Linda picked jewel tones of purple, blue, green and a bit of pink, resulting in a necklace that goes with just about her entire wardrobe
